Dear Anne and family,
My sincere condolences to all of you. To know John was to know he was a proud family man who loved you, his accomplished children, and grandchildren. He was a gentleman with a wonderful sense of humor. Besides being a fellow parishioner of Blessed Sacrament, he was my principal when I taught Business at Burncoat High School. We admired him. He was respectful and appreciated our teaching skills. The student body was very diversified and he knew instinctively how to nurture and how to tactfully influence their conduct.
God rest his honorable soul.

I was saddened to learn of John's passing. I always enjoyed seeing him and Bill Monroe. They we're great friends of my brother Peter and they were so much fun. It is always hard to lose someone special, and John was. He was a bright, inquisitive and articulate man with a good sense of humor. This reminds me of my father's passing in that with all of his wonderful attributes, his best was, that he was a very good man.

To John Jr. and family:
I have only good memories of Principal O'Malley from BHS 1978-1981 and was reminded of him last year when I taught at DHS and met his humble son who chose the same field. Principal O'Malley was an honest, good, and fair man. Sorry for your loss.
