It´s not really possible to believe that my best and dearest friend Jon has been gone for 10 years. Like all of his family and friends I go on thinking of him when I see an item somewhere or hear a song or read a report on some new technology, all of which make me think of him instantly. The moment of sadness is immediately followed by a much longer moment of fond remembrance, hearing his quick-witted humour, and knowing that my life is better for knowing him.

Jon was a truly unique individual. He was so bright, sociable and made everone he met feel like his best friend. I had the privelage of working with him at HP! He always engaged the sales force with his ability to put new perspectives on industry trends and new ways to think about htings. What a breath of fresh air for everyone who knew him. I will miss him in so many ways but his presence made the world such a better place! Rest in peace Jon.

Dear Tracy,
I just found out about Jon. I'm so ,sorry. My heart goes out to you and the kids.
At his dads funeral Jon informed me that we were now the, altakakas.
I fully expected to hold that title with him for a long time.
Much too soon to go.

Tracy & Family : Where does one begin to encompass the character, the loyalty, the intelligence, the drive & determination that your beloved Jon possessed ? In 1972 he took me under his wide wings & introduced me to the art of music & recording production which launched us into an amazing run not only as technical partners but also as great friends ! I can't count the number of times over the years that I spent in the field that my mentor's guidance & support came back to me tenfold. The world will feel his absence for quite some time as will I... Will never forget him - TEE CUE

I worked with Jon on several projects over the past 10 years. He was dedicated, passionate, and articulate. Throw in that he was always the smartest guy in the room and that he was funny, and you had a winning combination. I am so very sorry for your loss. I will miss him very much.
