Joe never forgot where he came from, growing up as a Shoe-Shine-Boy on Madison Street in Worcester. He was a life-long member of Saint John's Church in Worcester. He loved working in his yard and in his vegetable and flower gardens daily. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.

We all are Blessed to have known Joe. I always called him, "my Grand-Pappy". Heartbroken to hear of his loss. Not too long ago he mistakenly pocket dialed me. We had a nice long talk, a gift I see now. It's gonna be a glorious meeting with all our dearly departed from the fellowship. Every time we parted I would say, "God Bless you Joe" and he always replied, "He does, He Does."

My deepest sympathies to Joe's family. He helped me so much, in so many ways. I loved hearing his stories, his wisdom, and his uncommon good sense. He shared freely of his compassion and I was inspired by his willingness to help others. The night I first met him he pulled me aside and told me exactly what I needed to do to get my legs back under me. That's a debt that I can't repay. R.I.P. Joe C., may you forever be at peace.

Prayers to Joe's family and friends. He will always be in my thoughts when I need to pause for a moment, because that is what I remember about his outlook on life. He seem to relax rather than get all worked up about anything. He was such a gentleman, and a inspiration to so many people. I will be forever grateful for God putting him into my life for the short time I was around him. He made me feel like we were friends forever. May you R.I.P. Joe Love you my friend.
