Such a remarkably good, smart, engaging, accomplished, friendly, and supportive person leaving a wonderful legacy from a long life well lived. From early on in my career and ongoing, I learned so much observing his adept lawyering skills, the encouragement he gave his clients, and the respect he had for all involved in the proceedings, both during them and outside of them. Rest in a peace so well deserved.

My sincere condolences to Sheila and the entire McGuire family. Joe was a great person, he always made me laugh. I will always remember whenever we were at meetings, he always like to eat the sweet pastries but Sheila would say Joe, you can only have one. I once sneaked one to him when Sheila was not looking but he refused and said to me Sheila said I can only have one although I would like another. He was such a great man. His wife Sheila always did a great job taking care of him. Rest In Peace Joe, you will be missed.

Dear John & The McGuire Family,

I can see now how the goodness of your spirit
is visible...through your Uncle Joseph. I was a client at your firm.
My grandfather's twin uncles were both Jack and Joe from Canterbury Street and fought in the Spanish-American War.

May you and your family continue to be blessed and may Joseph, Rest in Peace, always.

I worked for Joe as a Legal Secretary from 1991 to 1993. He was one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. Working for Joe was a pleasure, it felt more like working for an Uncle than a boss. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Sheila and family,

A bright new star has been added to the heavens. If you look up, on any given day, at a beautiful evening sky you will see it shine, and you will know which one it is, because it will be shining down upon you.

Joe was my dearest friend. I am so honored to have known him, and to have shared in his life. There are no words or phrases I can express that would explain my admiration and love for Joe.

Sheila and family, please let me continue to be part of your lives, and always feel free and comfortable to call upon me for any reason.

My prayers always, to you and my dear friend, Joe, may he rest in peace.
