My condolences to the Rosenbaum family. Joe was a kind and considerate friend to my parents, Irving & Marcia Burg (also a 1st cousin of Irving's).

Joe was a great friend to me for over 30 years. We met shortly after I was divorced and didn't know what I wanted to do for work. He mentored me in the advertising specialty business and I joined him as a salesperson for the L.W.Barrett Company. Although I never achieved his level of sales success, ( he was one of their top producers for years) I enjoyed selling and could always count on him for help in fixing factory problems, ( there were many) and to be there to offer encouragement and to share his knowledge of selling.
Joe was the most positive person I have ever known. I remember my Dad once remarked that Joe must be unhappy because he had never married. Actually, I never knew a happier person! He loved life and he loved people. He was the last to leave any social gathering as he enjoyed " shmoozing" so much.
Joe was a man of extraordinary common sense and wisdom. He credited his father for this, and had much respect for the memory of his parents. He was very artistic and resourceful. I still have a waste paper basket that he made for me out of pieces of cardboard from some old boxes!
I will always be grateful to him for all he did for me when I most needed it. His friendship and support made all the difference in my life. Although he was small in stature his heart was huge.
I will miss you, Joe. Rest in piece.
