Josephine Bartolini Obituary
Mrs. Bartolini attended Framingham schools and Framingham State College evening class. Before she was married she worked for Framingham Apron Factory and McIntosh Stitcher, sewing army jackets for our troops during WWII.
After her marriage Mrs. Bartolini worked as a waitress a the former Giombetti's Restaurant and the former Whites Corner, both of Southborough. In 1961 she and her husband Leo became co-owner's of Bartolini Bros. Construction Co. Inc. She ran the office until she was 80, when she was no longer able to due to her health.
She also had her Massachusetts Real Estate License. She was a member of St. Matthew Church of Southborough where she was a communicant, and she was also a member of Southborough Catholic Women's Club.
She enjoyed summering at her home on Cape Cod, where she was a former member of Sesuit Harbor Boat Owner Association. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Ronald Bartolini of Marlborough, Leo F. Bartolini, Jr. and his wife Rhonda, Paul Bartolini all of Southborough; a sister, Theresa Barbette and her husband Thomas; a brother, Roy Tiziani and his wife Mary all of Framingham; 7 grandchildren, Dominic of NYC, Jeffrey of Waltham, Christopher, Jonathan, & Anthony all of Southborough, Leo F., III, who she raised since he was an infant, Brendan all of Southborough, and many nieces and nephews. She is pre deceased by 2 daughters in law, Katherine (Chaput) Bartolini and Kerry Ann (McDonald) Bartolini.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday April 6, from 2 to 6 p.m at the Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 7, at 10 AM at St Matthew Church, 105 Southborough Road, Southborough. Burial will follow in the Rural Cemetery in Southborough. Expressions of Sympathy may be sent in her memory to St. Matthew Church, 105 Southville Rd., Southborough, MA 01772.

To the family of Jo Bartolini.
The passing of Jo is very sad for me. I have known the Bartolini family for many years and considered Jo as a dear friend. Through the years we have lost contact with each other, but know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Sorry I cannot be with you at this time as I live in FL now and do not get up north often.

My heart goes out to the Bartolini/Tiziani families in the loss of their sister,mom,grandmom and great grandmom. Josephine was a Super Lady. Go back to the days when she lived at 33 Bethany Road and married a super guy.
God rest her soul.

My fond memories of traveling down your driveway for Halloween Candy was only matched by your bright smile at the end, warm apple cider and donuts. What a treat for a little girl who each time I made that journey was greeted like family. My condolences to all the Bartolini's. Your mother was a rare gem who set a great example of motherhood.
