Dear Joy,
The day I found out about your passing I was relieved because I knew that you werent anymore pain. I pray that God was and still is with you. Watch over us Blue eyes... We all miss you lots. I expect to come in and see you at the table smoking or making yourself some coffee. You taught me to appreaciate my life more because of the way I saw you battle what was going on in your life. I hope to see you one day......

To Joy's Family,
I had the pleasure of taking care of Joy several times at the Cancer Clinic at University Campus, she was
a JOY to take care of we had a lot of laughs, and remember Mrs.Seale
we both remembered she always called us Kiddo as candystripers I
was so saddened to hear that she passed, between each Chemotherapy treatment she make a deal with me if she could sneek out for a respitory treatment (but break)
and I would tease her and say don't make me come find you Joy, and sure enough I would find her out on a bench chatting away with people
and she would always make me stop in the gift shop on the way back to the clinic to buy me some candy, she was a love and I am sure you will all miss her greatly,
With much sympathy,
Kathy B RN

To Joy's entire family and friends, I extend my deepest and most heartfelt feelings and hope for you that God will wrap his loving arms around Joy as He welcomes her into His House and she is reunited with all of yours that have gone before. Joy's family is one that wil gain strength from each other in their time of terrible sorrow and time will reward them all, family and friends, with the absolute joy of having had Joy in their lives. May you all take comfort in knowing that Joy will always be with you in spirit and you will hold her close as you always have. Time will ease the pain of today but will be joined by the happiness of Joy and her love of all of you. From the time she entered into your lives, you loved her no matter what. Love her now, more than ever. I know that grief takes time, that time is different for each but to each of you, I tell you that love will conquer grief in time. Love each other now and gain from each other the strength to see the next day come and each day forward. Your love for each other and Joy will conquer the grief you feel today.
