Juliette M. Girardin, 91

Grafton - Juliette M. (Guilmette) Girardin, 91, of Grafton, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center at Northbridge after a long illness.

Her husband of 33 years, Russell A. Girardin, died in 1987.

She leaves two children: Susan A. (Girardin) Choiniere and her husband, Christopher, of Dover-Foxcroft, ME, and Dennis R. Girardin and his wife, Lynn E. Morris-Girardin, of Westborough; three grandsons: Steven M. Brann of Oklahoma City, OK, Scott A. Brann of Rumford, ME, and Mark S. Girardin of Syracuse, NY; three great grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, Victor J. and Ernestine (Vincent) Guilmette of South Grafton, and two sisters: Evelyn M. Koliss of Nashua, NH, and Lorraine M. Dion of South Grafton.

Born in Grafton on August 25, 1927, she lived there until she moved to Northbridge in 2015. She was a 1945 graduate of Grafton High School.

Mrs. Girardin worked for 25 years as a salesclerk and bookkeeper at the former Moe's Market in Northbridge. She also worked part-time for many years at the Village Dairy convenience store in South Grafton. She was a lifelong member of Saint James Catholic Parish, South Grafton.

She loved to travel and especially enjoyed the cruises she went on with her sister, Lorraine. She also was an avid Red Sox fan.

Mrs. Girardin's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 27, in Saint James Catholic Church, 89 Main St., South Grafton. After the Mass her remains will be buried in Fairview Cemetery, South Grafton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Saint James Catholic Parish, 89 Main St., South Grafton, MA 01560. Turgeon Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Millbury, has charge of her arrangements.
