Kariel Torres Obituary
Clinton - Kariel M. "Mimi" Torres, 25, passed away tragically on Sunday, September 19, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She is survived by her mother, Lourdes Torres of Worcester; her father, Hector D. Torres, Jr. of Clinton; 3 adoring sisters, Sujai Torres of Webster; Jailyn Acevedo, and Keilani Acevedo, both of Worcester; maternal grandparents: Jose & Raquel Torres; paternal grandparents Hector D. Torres, Sr. & Ariandna Lopez Figueroa; paternal great-grandmothers Ana Maria Figueroa, and Margarita Cortez; and paternal great-great-grandmother Margarita Navarros; generations of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Kariel was born in Miami, Florida on March 8, 1996. Raised and educated in Worcester, she graduated from Sullivan Middle School and South High Community School, Class of 2014. Blessed with a natural maternal instinct, strong desire for helping those in need, and seeing only good in others, Mimi studied Social Service at Quinsigamond Community College to pursue her chosen career path as a youth counselor. She was fiercely independent, driven, and passionate for writing poetry and music. She lived and loved with all her heart and always put family first. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 from 4 until 7PM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. sorry to hear kariel had passed away in car accident recently i just found out and was shocked and hurt i worked with kariel side by side for 10 months2019 at phillip medisize she was very smart hardworking beautiful young women i know there no words to ease pain and although i only knew her the 10 months she was very proud of her family she would always say her sister were pretty then her she like living with her father and very excited her mother was ready to give birth and she wanted to spoil her new sibling when i walk around city there are 2 cars i see with eye lashes and kariel come to mind i hope this message will give you some comfort she was so proud of family and loved all of you so sorry for loss to young
