Dear Roger, Mrytle and Family,
Hugh and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved mother. Although we did not know her well, she must have been a wonderful woman to have raised such a fine son. We regret that we cannot be with you in Oxford to share your loss as we are in Suzhou, China. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers and hope that your fond memories of a life well-lived will soothe your sadness during the difficult days ahead.
