Louie was one of the Braggville kids. He was a great friend, always smiling and laughing. He loved to come to my house on South Street as my Mum always had homemade cookies. He loved them. My love and sympathy go out to his family.

Dear Linda and Family!
I am so sorry to hear the passing of Louis.
I just heard tonight and I'm so saddened for your loss.
Louis was very special to me. He believed in me when I didn't. Teaching most of my life, becoming a server was not something I ever thought I could do.
Louis told me when I felt ready to be a server to let him know. After awhile, I thought I'd give it a try, but under 1 condition, that he and the cooks could not yell at me because I would cry.
He gave me his word.
When I was very sick with a diagnosis of cancer, he promised me that everything would be fine and I'd be back. Well, a missed diagnosis proved Louis right. I did go back!
Sending love, hugs and prayers to you all!

Lou, I will miss you dearly. You were always there for all of us! Whatever we needed. It was an honor and privilege to work for you over the past twenty years. We all became family. I will miss your smile as you came through the door. Thank you for being a wonderful boss, mentor and friend. Watch over us! We will make you proud. Linda and the Cheschi family, I am so very sorry for your loss. May you find peace in the many memories you've had with Lou!

Linda and the entire Cheschi Family I'm still at a loss for words at the passing of such a wonderful man and friend. I will forever treasure the many memories we have shared over the last decades. He was a fiercly loyal and protective friend to those he loved. Know that he was loved back, ten fold. I will never get used to not seeing Lou at the end of the bar in his spot. But I am grateful for the memories that will last a life time and beyond. Praying that your last trip was as smooth as the way you could park that 44 foot boat, and not the disaster that was you driving a dinghy in Block Island hitting every anchor line in sight. Untill we meet again, rest in peace. Although knowing you and Stevie, there will be no resting in Heaven for awhile. All my love.
