To my Dear Friends' Family . My heartfelt sympathy for all of you. Marcia was a dear sweet friend of mine. I had the privilege of training her 2 girls. Bella and Tessa. I had so many conversations and a couple visits with her. She is and always will be a roll model for me. Love you girl and till we meet again and we will. Rest in Peace.

To Marcia's family- I was proud to be hired by Marcia into EPA in 1986. She was a wonderful "boss" but even a better person. She always kind and very protective, always looking for opportunities to let her people shine. She never had a bad word to say about anybody, and was incredibly excited to talk about her family. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her.

To Marcia's Family - I am very sorry to hear about Marcia's passing. I worked for Marcia in the late 80's and she was such a funny person who had a quick wit. I enjoyed working for her.

My sister. A very clear mind until the very last day. This chapter is closed. I am gathering my cats that have passed before me. (Spencer and Tucker). We're going to cross to the other side. We're not looking back. Fade to black.........

Marcia was a presence at EPA. She taught me how to think about the Clean Air Act, and more importantly, how to care about the colleagues we worked with. Hers was a life of consequence. I feel honored to have worked with her and known her as a friend.

My deepest condolences to all whose lives Marcia touched, especially her sister, niece and brother, whom I got to know through her stories over the years. Marcia and I continued our friendship even after her career at EPA had ended--she would write how she loved following on Facebook my travels with my wife and daughters. Marcia cared deeply and passionately about people, animals, the environment, great food, grand experiences. The world was better for having had her in it.

Karen and Timmy, we are so sorry for you loss. She was a wonderful person, always so full of life. I enjoyed my cousin Marcia very much the times we spent together during family gatherings.
Enjoyed reading her post on Facebook.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Marcia was my dearest friend for almost fifty years. During that time we shared the ups and downs of our lives. Marcia always had thoughtful advice, funny stories and kind help to offer. She led a joyful and meaningful life. I am grateful for her presence in my life and hope that happy memories will help all of us through our current grief.

Some people leave a mark on you heart a soul.
For me Marcia is one of those people. As a work colleague, Marcia was nothing less than brilliant in her understanding of the issues, and always willing to share and teach when called upon. As a friend Marcy was kind and caring. Her generosity was emotionally touching. We stayed in touch following retirement. I regret that Marcy did not have more time to enjoy the world she worked so hard improve environmentally. Always the optimist in hard times for me. Marcy, every time I eat "crabbies" I will think of you with love and thanks for having shared life with you.

It was my honor to be able to call Marcia my friend. She was also a great neighbor as we lived very near each other. We would often talk about what was happening in our community of Old City during our many sushi nights at Kiso or Morimito. Even though my husband and I moved to Florida several years ago, we always stayed in touch. Best of all, Marcia very much respected my political opinions. She was a fair and honest person. She will be missed. And Marcia ... don't forget to send the hummingbirds my way! You promised!

Tim, Karen, Meredith and all who loved Marcia, our deep condolences. Marcia taught us how to live and she taught us how to die. Her light was bright and her enthusiasm and zest for life stayed with her until the end. May her joy in "going home" bring you all peace...she will surely be missed. God bless, Nancy and Billy McComas
