Marlene Cote, 54
WEBSTER - Marlene (Pelletier) Cote, 54, died Saturday, August 25, 2012 in UMass/Memorial Hospital, Worcester, after complications following surgery.
She leaves a daughter, Andrea E. Valcourt of Webster; a son Joshua R.. "Josh" LeBlanc of Ellsworth, ME; a grandson, Christian M. Dupre of Webster; a brother, Randy Pelletier of Leominster; a good friend, Arthur F. LeBlanc III of Ellsworth, ME; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She was born in Daytona Beach, FL, the daughter of Robert and Eleanor (DeCarolis) Pelletier. She lived in Westminster, Leominster and Fitchburgh before moving to Webster in 2008. She graduated from Leominster High School in 1977.
Marlene was a direct care worker at North Central Human Services for 11 years. She also was a cashier at Price Chopper in Spencer. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and enjoyed church activities. She loved riding motorcycles, wolves and fishing.
Marlene chose to donate several organs through the New England Organ Bank: her heart to a 40 year old man, her lungs to a 50 year old woman, her liver to a 40 year old woman, and her kidneys to 2 men aged 60 and 70. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 8, at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street, Webster. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.

I've never noticed in an obituary that organs were left for the survival of other..what a wonderfully generous woman she must of bee..sincere sympathy to the family for this loss.
