I have memories of a youth pressed full with Sunday gatherings packed with all our families, cousins, uncles, aunts, regaling politics, family drama, punctuated with incredible tables of Greek cuisine. At Thea Martha’s house the table overflowed. Thea Martha’s quiet smile and pleasant grace, brings forth a comfort remembrance of those cherished times. I always felt so at ease with no pretense as she had such a genuine quality found in few today. She did so much for the Church and set such a great example for us all. Our heart goes out to Tina and Tommy… Diane and Emily, Yiayia Martha is gracing the heavens…remember her smile. With all our love,

Martha was our next door neighbor to my family (the Cohens) on Granite Street. We remember when she came from Greece and married Pete (the barber) and we watched her children Tommy and Tina grow up. Everytime I saw her she was so warm and friendly. Remember all the wonderful memories you had with her.
