Mary Teebagy Obituary
of Somerville April 14, 2021. Dear and devoted wife of the late Anthony K. Teebagy, Sr. Beloved mother of Judith DeFreitas & her husband Daniel of Amesbury, Barbara Capuano & her husband Michael of Somerville, Anthony K. Teebagy, Jr. & his wife Kathleen Buckley of Shrewsbury, James Teebagy & his wife Sanaa of New Hampshire, Laura Shuman & her husband Mark of Florida, and Kaser Teebagy & his wife Patricia of Mansfield. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law. Dear sister of the late Cecelia Connolly, Charles Maloof, and George Maloof. Due to COVID capacity limits, a private Funeral Service will be held at St. Mary Orthodox Church 8 Inman St. Cambridge on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours in the Church Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. All will be required to wear masks, practice social distancing, and limit their time in the Church. Relatives and friends are also invited to gather at the gate of Fairview Cemetery 45 Fairview Ave. Hyde Park on Tuesday at approximately 11:45 a.m. to join the funeral procession to the grave. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Mary's memory to St. Mary Orthodox Church (stmaryorthodoxchurch.org) 8 Inman St. Cambridge, MA 02139. Guestbook and additional information at

I had fond memories of Mrs. Teabagy. I loved coming over her house to spend time with Laura, and Mrs. Teebagy was always so welcoming and kind. I remember feeling like her family was everything to her. I loved the way Mr. T would look at her with such love. She will be missed by all.
