Maureen Peters-Kelly Obituary
She was born in Worcester and lived here all her life. She attended North High and Classical High School. Maureen worked for many beauty distributors and salons in the area. She owned and operated "Nails by Miki" for 16 years. As a make-up artist in California, she worked on the cast of Bewitched.
Maureen loved traveling, Broadway Theater, music, dancing and being around friends and family. She was a huge fan of the Red Sox and Patriots.
Her family would like to thank the liver transplant team and all the staff at 6 ICU for all their efforts, support and kindness. A special thanks to Karen Green, long time friend that unselfishly cared for Maureen.
The funeral will be on Wednesday, February 3 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., with a Mass at 10:30 AM at Holy Family, St. Joseph`s Church, 35 Hamilton St. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, February 2 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

We may only be Worcester, MA and not Hollywood BUT we had our share of "STARS" during the 60s, 70's and 80's and Maureen was one of the brightest! She was beautiful inside and out and was loved by all. As I write this little note it saddens me to see how many "bright lights" have gone to Heaven but truly believe we shall all meet again. To Miki's family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Miki was a friend of my Mom, Sandra Lindsay.
I have many memories of her when I was younger.. playing cards at our house, coming for dinner, giving me make-up samples and beauty advice. I always thought she was beautiful, a kind soul..with a smile and laugh that was so infectious!

Diane,
Miki and I lost contact over the years. I, often times, ran into her down the Cape and we were able to catch-up. But I haven't seen her in a while and had no idea that she was sick.
You and Miki have never been far from my thoughts and have always held a special place in my heart.
My prayers are with you. Keep your memories close, forever.
