so sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing that those who have died, to God are as good as alive. A good name is better than good oil and the day of death is better than the day of birth. Eccl. 7:1

Michael,
There are no words to express the sorrow in my heart. You are the son I wish I could have kept as my own. Thank you for loving us.

Michael (Gabe) was always willing to do teaching, and to help whatever time of night or day on the Med/Surg floor. He was quick and precise, incredibly knowledgeable, and was wonderful with our Veterans. It is absolutely an incredible loss for our profession. He will be utterly missed.

Gabe- This was a shock to hear when I stopped in at the VA for a visit. To Gabe's family and friends I am keeping all of you in my thoughts during this tragic and sad time in life. He was amazing to work with, and every day I was able to work in clinic with him was indeed an amazing experience.

Gabe...my brother. I just received the news and I'm without words. You helped prepare me to become a respiratory therapist and in turn, you and I spent countless hours in one on one karate training where you made our teacher proud of your accomplishments. You will always have a special place in my heart. I sincerely look forward to the day that we meet again. You are already sorely missed.
