Neal J. Murray, 34

Oxford - Neal J. Murray, 34, formerly of Main Street, died suddenly on Monday, February 1, 2016. He is survived by his father, David J. Murray and his wife Pamela of Oxford; his mother, Charlotte J. Primeau Pelkey of Dedham; his brother, Craig D. Murray and his wife Nicole of Oxford; his sister, Lisa M. Murray of Worcester; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was born in Worcester and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. He graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton in 2000.

Neal was a welder and union pipe fitter, who worked for General Mechanical Contractors in Auburn for several years.

Neal had a huge heart, he loved kids and animals; especially monkeys, riding his Harley, being on the water, and snowmobiling. He had a special talent for fixing things. He loved his family and many friends, and would do anything for anyone. He will always be in our hearts.

While the loss of a loved one is never easy, even when anticipated, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Your recent loss of your son whose tragic death at such a youthful age is definitely in the category of those hard losses.

We ask for God's blessings on your family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence by remembering you do not walk alone. - In deepest sympathy,

Cory Lavallee

Condolences to all hearts Neal has touched. I knew him from loving my dear friend Julie for over the 13 or close years they were together. He was always an easy smile to grasp, and had one of a kind heart that he seemed to never stop a second to help someone he loved, through good times and bad and that is something to admire. His ability to not exclude those he loved. He fought a battle that angels would lift to save one of their own.

Lisa and Family, there are not many words that one can say to offer comfort in times like these... After losing my brother Jeffrey it was the most numbing experience I ever faced. Once that wore off the tears and laughter came. Embrace the process for it does heal parts of your heart with time. You are all on my mind. Neal was such a great guy and I hope Jeff and him are up to no good in the heavens above!!!

To Neal's family my heart is sad for you but I hope that seeing what a great person everyone thought of him will help in your healing process! We weren't the best of friends but he was just such a genuinely nice kid!
