CLINTON - Pamela A. Curley, 58, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at UMass Medical Center-Worcester after being stricken ill. She is survived by her loving companion of 23 years, Ronald P. Seuss, Jr.; her mother, Gloria (Striplin) Powers and husband Gil of Mansfield; her siblings, Robert W. Curley, Jr. & his companion Lisa Sellars of Athol; Kevin S. Powers & wife Gina of Mansfield; Angela Giusti & husband Mark of Swansea; dear friend Nora Seyer, companion of her late brother P. Scott Powers of Mansfield; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends, especially her beloved dog "Buffy."
Pam was born in Boston, daughter of Gloria and the late Robert W. Curley. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School Class of 1972. Pam obtained her degree in hairdressing and for more than 30 years has successfully owned and operated her own business, 17 of which have been spent entertaining clientele at Curley's Hide A Way Hair Salon, located on Main Street in Lancaster. Pam took great pleasure in dancing and laughter and was passionate for both fashion and style. She was a devoted friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. Funeral services are to be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will follow in Reservoir Pines Cemetery, Clinton. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2 until 5 PM. Online condolences may be placed at
