Pasquale Gallicchio Obituary

Pasquale Gallicchio, 92, of Mary Scano Drive, formerly of Stanton Street in Worcester, passed away, Friday, August 8, 2008, in Christopher House of Worcester. His wife, Martha (Troy) Gallicchio and a daughter, LuAnn Robinson, both predeceased him.

He leaves his daughter, Patricia Losapio and her husband Frank of Northborough; a sister, Phyllis Bouvier of Worcester; four grandchildren, Linda, Frank, Corey, and Jonathan; four great grandchildren, Erica, Joshua, Anthony, and Maria; his "other grandson" Louis; many nieces and nephews. Four brothers, William, Frank, Michael, and Rocky, and two sisters, Lucy and Clara, predeceased him. Born in Worcester, son of Antonio and Rosa Gallicchio and he has lived here all his live. He worked as a meat-cutter, starting at age thirteen, for over fifty years at the former Argento's Market. He was always taking care of others.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 11, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Interment will be in Saint John's Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday morning from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Research Center, 640 Jackson Street, St. Paul, MN 55101
