Paul Bondanza Obituary

Paul J. Bondanza, 40

Shrewsbury/Medford - Paul J. Bondanza, 40, of Medford, formerly of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Paul is survived by his girlfriend, Sherry Pann, with whom he lived; two sons, Ayden and Ashtyn Bondanza, both of Billerica; his father Joseph P. Bondanza and his wife Anne of Shrewbury; his step-father Brian J. Atteridge of New Jersey; four sisters, Melissa Clark and her husband Cade of Millbury, Tracy Bondanza of Washington D.C., Nicole Bondanza and Christine Bondanza, both of Shrewsbury; three nieces, Lindsey, Madison, and Gianna. Paul was predeceased by his mother, Cathy (Brunelle) Atteridge in July 2013. Paul was born in Worcester and grew up in Shrewsbury, where he graduated from Shrewsbury High School. He later moved to Lowell before settling in Medford last year.

Paul worked as a foreman with MAS Building and Bridge Company, based out of Norfolk. He enjoyed his career and the people he worked with tremendously. He was the captain of his High School football team and continued the passion for the sport by playing for JDS's flag football team in Worcester. Paul enjoyed trips to the Cape and summer cookouts with his family. He also enjoyed fun competitive fishing tournaments held amongst his family and friends. Paul will be missed dearly.

Dear Paul and the Bondanza family,
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I hear of this news and I'm having a hard time finding the words to express this. You were my first love, my high school sweetheart, and although we were young, I am grateful for that time together (5 years!). My thoughts and prayers go out to your family, children and girlfriend. May you rest in peace.

Paul, Uncle Lee & I loved you soooo much. We were remembering the trips we took together when you were younger. The mule trip into the Grand Canyon, Cancun and Disney. How proud we were when you made foreman at MAS. The great father to Ayden & Ashtyn . We love you PAUL.
