Paul Carter Obituary
LUNENBURG - Paul Michael Carter passed away suddenly Saturday August 1, 2015 at his home.
Paul was born March 18, 1982 in Leominster to Michael J. Carter and Cheryl (Buskey) Carter-Miller. He was a graduate of Oakmont Regional High School in Ashburnham and attended Mount Wachusett Community College for Automotive Technology.
Paul's passion in life was music. He was a self-taught guitarist and keyboardist. His last band, When Faith Dies, showcased his powerful vocals and talented song writing. Paul loved all aspects of music and with his band on stage he was complete. Paul was a free spirit who lived his life his way no matter what anyone ever said. Paul was a loving son, brother, and friend with a unique spirit and gentle soul, he cared for everyone in his life.
Besides his parents, Paul leaves a brother Patrick Carter, grandmother Natalie Mahoney, step-father Hank Miller, step-mother Barbara Carter, step-brothers Matthew Boudreau, Justin Miller, Matthew Miller, cousins Joshua Chrobak, Jaclyn Chrobak, nephews Bruce Boudreau, Oliver Miller, aunt Joanne Lee, uncle Andrew Lee, aunt Pamela Boudreau, uncle Michael Ruocco, uncle Brian Mahoney. Paul's grandmother Dorothy Buskey and loving aunt Jayne Buskey Chrobak pre-deceased Paul.
Calling hours for Paul will be Friday August 7 from 4pm-7pm at Brandon Funeral Home, Fitchburg.
Paul 's funeral will be Saturday August 8 at 10am in Unitarian Universalist First Church, 15 West Street, Leominster.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation in Paul's spirit to be made to Fender Music Foundation at http://www.fendermusicfoundation.org/

It was a wonderful experience to work with Paul in "Into the Woods" and thank you Paul for singing "Agony" opposite our Prince. I would have so been blown off the stage. I am sorry for your loss.

Paul meant so much to so many. We weren't best friends by any means but when my boyfriend and I used to go to Affliction practices at the jamspot in Fitchburg we always looked forward to seeing him most of all. He had a way of lighting up a room with his smile and will greatly be missed.

Paul was a friend a good friend to everyone. He touched so many lives. He had a strangeness about him that you couldn't help but embrace. He was always a light to anyone's dark days. I hope his light will now shine down brighter than ever and people can find peace knowing he loved was loved and was living his dreams everyday (music of course). Love you Paul ❤

I went to Oakmont with Paul and I remember him very clearly, we ran in different circles, but he always struck me as someone very sensitive to other people and just a nice guy. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember him being creative, so I glad to hear he surrounded his life with music. My thoughts and prayers go out to Patrick and the rest of his family.

To the Carter and Miller family,
Word cannot express how devastated I am at your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you as in the past but especially now. I cannot imagine losing a child, especially one who was so unique, talented, and loved by his family and friends. I wish I could be there Tomorrow and Saturday...but I am too far away with too many responsibilities here.
We all have our burdens, but this kind of loss should not be one of them. Deep hugs.

Sooo sad to hear about Paul. He was such a kind person, awesome to talk to and so interesting... and what a musician... We loved when he'd come to New Boston to jam in our basement. He and his music will be missed.
