Dear MaryKate, I'm so sorry for your loss. I know you deeply loved and admired your father. In my experience, having lost my hero and father almost nine years ago, you will always feel his presence and sometimes even see signs or hear his voice in some way, directing your path. Peace and prayers for you and your family at this time.

The College of the Holy Cross mourns with you the loss of a great teacher and human being and celebrates with you his new life in Christ. How graced we were by his long and generous career at the College serving our students, alumni/ae, and his colleagues. May he rest in peace and may you be blessed by hope in Jesus' promise of eternal life.

Dear Members of the McMaster family,
We are so sorry to hear of the death of Paul and the recent passing of Joan. They were a wonderful couple, always so warm and friendly, whenever we saw them. Paul made tremendous contributions to Holy Cross in the Chemistry Department and on several very important committees. His influence on the College will be felt for many years still to come.
God bless you all, and we wish you peace and consolation.
Yours sincerely,
Tom and Patsy Cecil (Prof. of Math.)

I was a chem major at Holy Cross (class of 1978), and Paul was one of my favorites. He had a great sense of humor and made it easier to learn a hard subject like Organic Chemistry. He made sure he connected we every student. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family.
