Paul Morrison Obituary
Mr. Morrison was born on November 3, 1935 in Schenectady, NY, and grew up in Glens Falls, NY. Joe was a son of the late John and Madeline (Robinson) Morrison.
Joe was the former husband of Eleanor (Lynch) Morrison of Charlton City, MA.
Joe graduated from St. Mary's Academy in Glens Falls, NY and received a BA in business from the University of Connecticut in 1960, where he was an enthusiastic member of the Theta Sigma Chi fraternity.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Joe was a stockbroker for A.G. Edwards & Sons in Worcester, MA for 34 years before retiring in 2006.
Joe was an avid golfer; he also enjoyed driving Ford Mustangs, reading Ernest Hemingway, discussing politics and spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his former wife, Joe is survived by his three children, Matthew J. Morrison of Charlton, MA, Deirdre M. Morrison and Kathleen Morrison-Layton both of North Kingstown, RI; three brothers, George Morrison of New York, John Morrison of Florida and Steven Morrison of Maryland; one sister, Mary MacArthur of Florida and four grandchildren, Arabella, Jaclyn, Declan and Beckett.
His Funeral and Burial will be private. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 will be appreciated. For information and guestbook visit:
