Phillip Carmichael Obituary
Clinton - Phillip C. Carmichael, 62, of 367 Water St., died Sunday, November 17, 2014 at Marlborough Hospital after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 34 years, Holly (Hamilton) Carmichael, who died in 2004. He is survived by two sons, Jason Carmichael of Lancaster, and Heath Carmichael of Marlborough; two grandchildren, Megan McLaughlin & Brandon Carmichael; siblings & their spouses, Elaine Harms & George of Concord, Bud Carmichael & Sandy of Arlington, Ed Carmichael & Sally of NH, Alice Carmichael-Simoneau & Martin of Clinton; mother-in-law Hazel Hamilton of Lancaster; several nieces, nephews and close friends.
Phil was born in Winchester to the late Quinton & Alice (Johnson) Carmichael. He graduated from Nashoba Regional High School and began his lifelong career in construction. Phil was employed for many years with Laverdure Construction in Clinton before successfully owning and operating his own business as a contractor and carpenter. He was a loyal friend who would help anyone in need and a devoted family man who will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. Calling hours will be held from 5 until 7PM on Thursday, November 20, 2014 in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Memorial Service to follow at 7PM. A private family committal service will later be held. I loved him and will always remember the Fun Times growing up with Uncle Phil and Aunt Holly as well as all their Great Food and Boundless Generosity. He loved you both so much
