Ralph Nuzzetti Obituary
Worcester - Ralph "Duke" A. Nuzzetti, 94, a lifelong resident of the city died Tuesday August 31, 2021 at Christopher House in Worcester. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Anthony and Camilla (D'Angelo) Nuzzetti.
Duke leaves his beloved wife of 73 years Jean M. (Maenzo), two sons Anthony and his wife Mary Jane, Steven and his wife Mary Ellen. Six grandchildren Danielle Fisher and her husband Dave, Keith Torrey and his wife Maria, Kristen, Kerry, Patrick and Ashley, four great grandchildren Devin, Deyana, Teagan, and Kinsley. Ralph was predeceased by his daughter Paula Torrey in 2019, and his two brothers Anthony and Arnold, and sister Joan Mero.
Duke will be remembered for his many years with the Eastside Improvement Club of Shrewsbury St. and for his love of the New York Yankees and New England Patriots.
Funeral services for Duke will be private for his family. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester, Ma 01605 is privileged to serve the Nuzzetti family.

To the entire Nuzzetti Family please accept my condolences. Duke was one of the founding members of our Shrewsbury Street Neighborhood Association. He loved and cared about our neighborhood so deeply. He never missed a meeting until health issues made it difficult for him to attend. Even then, we would talk regularly about what was happening in the neighborhood. We became very good friends. I will miss you, my friend, and I will miss our talks. May you Rest In Peace.

So sorry to learn of the passing of a wonderful man. So many fond memories of arguing with Duke ( jokingly) about the Red Sox and Yankees. Many great memories. Kelle and I send our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace.

My friend, Duke. It's been a few years since I've seen you but I have thought of you often. I enjoyed our many years of morning walks with Buddy at St. V's.
