Richard Beeman Obituary
WORCESTER - Richard C. Beeman, 81, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, February 22nd. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Suellen (Holly) Beeman; his three daughters, Laura Beeman of Newcastle, CA, Wendy Slepian and her husband, Richard of El Dorado Hills, CA and Susan Beeman-Hollins and her husband, Robert of Salem, NH; and two grandchildren, Alexandria and Isaac Slepian and his beloved dog, Nikki. He was predeceased by his son, Guy Curtis Beeman and two brothers, John and Robert Beeman.
Richard was born in Jacksonville, FL the son of Leonard and Pearl (Wilcox) Beeman. He was a 1957 graduate of Portsmouth High School and attended Lowell University. Mr. Beeman served in the United States Army from 1957 until 1960.
Richard had been employed for thirty years at the IBM Corporation as a systems engineer, retiring in 1992. After retirement, he continued to pursue many endeavors both as a volunteer in the community and for personal enjoyment and growth. Over the years he spent many happy hours walking with his dogs, Phoebe, Mindy and Nikki over trails near his home. He treasured his grandchildren, AJ and Joey, often traveling to California to spend time with them as they were growing up. He had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and over the years rode many happy miles with his friends in the Harley Owners Group.

Dick was a very special person. We met him through the worcester HOG group and traveled to Nova Scotia and other places with him. He always had a smile. RIP Dick!!

We met and became friends with the Worcester Harley Owners Group, Worcester, MA. Chapter. So many great memories we have of him. He was such a good person, and we really enjoyed riding and going out to eat and attend events with him. To all of his family, we send our heartfelt condolences. He was one of the truly good ones who will be missed! Rest in peace my friend.
