Visiting my Dad at Leominster Crossings before he passed, I spotted the friendly face of "Dickie". We chatted briefly, he may have been here to visit his Mom.? He was as much a gentle soul as I remember back in FHS.
Actually had a date with him!

So shocked, and saddened to hear of Dickie's passing. He was the friendliest guy with a great sense of humor. Larger than life, he will be sorely missed.

I really wish I could have seen him one last time and tell him all about how good my life turned out and how through that journey I always thought about my times with him and working at quality lawn. I really have to say I just liked the guy and it was hard not to cause there was goodness in Dickie's heart and it showed on the outside in good times or in bad he always made me look up to him in some way. He showed me a lot about many different things and I will never forget the guy! So Dickie I wanted to tell you when I saw you, I've been married for 16 years and I got 6 kids and I have been clean and sober for almost 11 years, loving it all and praising the Lord for all these blessings!!! I also want to say thank you to Denise who was a pillar of stability when my life was upside down, you may have not known it but it really meant a lot to me even the short times I spent with you, thank you so much. May God bless your lives.

To all of Dickie's family, I am so so sorry for your loss, I was in his class at high school, he always had a big smile on his face and had something funny to say, no matter what. I am so glad I got to talk to him last fall at Market Basket, he was so nice to talk to. When we were leaving he took the hose out of the kids hand to show him how to water the plants outside. That was just who Dickie, was. Always helping somehow. We also hired him to cut down some trees, so we could put a shed up, He cut them and cleaned up everything, he did an great job. you never knew he was even there. Thank you for everything you did for us. You surely will be missed, God Bless YOu.

I will miss Dickie yelling at me and making me laugh when I was running. I could always tell he was coming when I heard his voice and distinctive laugh out the window of his truck. Rest In Peace Dick and know you made many of us laugh, love and help each other on a daily basis.
You made Fitchburg a better place because of your generosity, spirit and compassion.

Dickie was always a gentleman and a pleasure to see. Loved him in high school and still do. We didn't see each other much , but when we did he always gave me the biggest hug and the biggest smile. Always brightened my day. My condolences to your family and rest peacefully my friend!

I first met Dickie in 9th grade at B.F.Brown Junior High School. Even at such a young age, I remember thinking how respectful he was and such a gentleman.

Dickie came to see my husband bossman when he was failing and told him he would bring a hot fudge sunday and a week later he was there with the ice cream that he said he would bring that made Paul happy and glad to see him. Now they are together
