Joann and Lu, I recently heard of Rita's passing and am deeply saddened! She displayed such a tough exterior, but I got to know that softer side during so many of our chats together!! I will always remember her words to me at the elevator every day when I left work: "Be careful out there. There are a lot of nuts on the road. Don't forget what I told you..." and I would smile & blow her a kiss. You are all in my thoughts & prayers. Rest in peace, my dear friend Rita.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I have so many beautiful memories as Rita and my mom were good buddies at Beaumont I would visit my mom and Rita was right by her side taking care of her. I found myself loving Rita as a beautiful friend God Bless and some day Rita we will meet again

My Deepest Sympathy to Rita's family. I was so sad to read of Rita's passing due to Covid-19. Rita always seemed so healthy and vibrant , what a shame that this horrible virus took her life. My Dad Fred was a resident on the second floor with Rita for almost two years until his passing in Nov. 2019. Rita called him Romeo and we would always laugh at that! I would see Rita sitting by the elevator each time I visited and she would have the T& G in her hand and we would talk about the days news . She was a funny, friendly woman!
I am also sorry to read of your father's passing in June, but hope it brings you all comfort to know they are together in heaven

My deepest sympathy to Rita's family. I vividly remember Rita from Beaumont during my last visit to the second floor in February 2019. My Mom, Janet passed and I recall countless conversations with Rita as she sat with me in the hallway on many occasions. Her sharp wit always made me smile. So pleased that my path crossed with hers ever so briefly. Strength and comfort to the family in the days ahead.

My deepest condolences to Rita's family. I saw Rita everyday when I visited my mom at Beaumont. I came to call her Auntie Rita, as she got a kick out of it. We used to exchange hugs every time I arrived and left.
She was so much fun to talk to and be around. She watched out
For my mom and took great care of her. For that I am eternally grateful. To say I am saddened is an understatement. I feel like I lost a member of my family.
The second floor will never be the same.
God be with Auntie Rita, May she shine in your warming light for eternity. Please bestow strength and comfort to
Her family.

Joann and family!
I am so very sorry for your loss. These times are so uncertain, and this was a shock for me when I found out. Your mom cared deeply. Even when things got challenging, we always saw the soft side as well. I am going to miss her! :( The 2nd floor will never be the same. Please take of yourselves!
