Rita Uhlman Obituary
Born in Needham, she was the daughter of the late John and Lucy (Keegan) Wainwright and was educated in Needham schools.
She is survived by two sons, Howard "Rowdy" Uhlman and his wife Bettiann, of Westborough and Donald Uhlman and his wife Janice of Fredericksburg, VA; one daughter, Dianne Uhlman and her fiancé James Greenlaw of Auburn, KY; one sister, Ruth Savilonis of Natick, a special niece Jane Adams of Westborough, one sister in-law, Franny Kendrick of Westborough; and many nieces and nephews, She was Nana to her eight grandchildren, Nicole McRae, Jodie Uhlman, Melissa Kronenberg, Dennis Clark, Joshua Uhlman, Ben Uhlman, Jacob Uhlman and Sarah Uhlman, and 12 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service held on Tuesday, April 6, at 10:00 A.M. in the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours on Monday, April 5, from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Hughes Home, 100 Caroline Street, Fredericksburg,VA.22401 or Mary Washington Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA.22407.

To Rowdy, Bettiann & Rita's loved ones'
Paul and I were sad to hear the news of Mom's passing. Ever time we pass the farm there is always a memory that pops up of the old days. Especially for Paul when he would stop in for a visit and Mom would give him coffee and he would take a stroll in the barn with Dad to visit the cows. Your memories full of fun and laughter from a happier time will bring you joy and comfort at this time of sadness.

Even though Charlie & I are not able to be there in person to pay our respects to your Mom, we send our sincere condolences to all of you in your time of loss...your Mom worked hard most of her life & now she is at her well-earned rest...how great it is to be able to remember Westborough at it's finest when our families were lucky enough to have Uhlman farms & ice cream stand...
