Bobby, you are now at home once again with Phyllis. Words can't express how much you and Phyllis meant to Emil and myself. Our Christmas holidays were filled with joy, love, laughter and amazing food as you opened your hearts and home to all that attended your "open house". You always made everyone feel welcome in your dwelling and the memories are still with me. To express how I feel about you is as follows: To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.
Rest in Peace, Bob, you have succeeded many times over. Love, Linda (Loomer) Connell.
