Rollande Morel Obituary

Rollande MaryAnn (Paquette) Morel, 90, of 316 School St., died Thurs., Aug. 14, after an illness. Her husband, Roland Morel, died March 23, 1992.

She is survived by a son, Paul Morel of Northbridge and a cousin. She was sister of the late Paul E. Paquette. Born in LaPatrie Canada, on Oct. 12, 1917, she was the daughter of Joseph P. and Stephanie (Gagnon) Paquette and lived here most of her life. She became a naturalized citizen in 1942.

Mrs. Morel was educated in the Northbridge public school system, worked for Westboro State Hospital, the Upton Hat Shop and the former Whitin Machine Works, retiring in 1983. She enjoyed reading and listening to books on tape. She was a member of St. Peter's Church.

Her funeral will be held Sat., Aug. 16 from Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, Church Ave. in Northbridge. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Sat., Aug. 16 at the funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Peter's Church Box, 446 Northbridge, MA 01534.
