I was profoundly sad to hear of Ron's unexpected and untimely death. As an attorney representing Saint-Gobain/Norton (in Texas), I had the privilege of working with Ron for several years. Over the years, I am proud to say Ron and I became friends as well as colleagues.

In additon to being a great source of technical information, Ron was a delight to talk to as he had such a great sense of humor. I will certainly miss him.

Nancy, Chris, Bonni;

We're very sad to hear this news. During our many years on Ash St., Ron was the neighborhood engineer and go-to guy when someone needed help. He could diagnose and fix anything; always with a laugh and witty remark.

Sincerely,
Brian Hickson & Family

I was so sad to hear of Ron's passing at such a relatively young age. He had so much living still to do!

Ron and I go back many, many, years to when we were both fairly young men at Norton/Saint-Gobain. Initially, of course, we were both fresh in our rather lowly jobs but as our friendship grew our working relationship also became more important.

I always knew that I could rely on Ron for timely and accurate technical information. This certainly made my international responsibilities easier to deal with. Ron also had an uncanny ability to sense which issues had the capability to become serious problems if not properly addressed.

Perhaps more important to our relationship was the man himself. I don't think we ever discussed serious issues without, in the end, finding a way to go away laughing. Ron had a fine sense of humor. I will miss him!
