Ronald Orczyk Obituary

Ronald C. Orczyk, 78

Whitinsville - Ronald C. Orczyk, 78, passed away at his home following a brief illness, on April 3, 2021. His wife Susan Orczyk passed away in 2018. Ron leaves his brothers, Stanley R. Orczyk and his wife Lynn of Florida, and Paul G. Orczyk and his wife Ellen of Rutland, MA, along with several nieces and a nephew, as well as several grand nieces and a grand nephew. Ron was born on January 22, 1943 in Worcester, MA, the son of the late Anna (Krakowski) and Stanley R. Orczyk. He graduated from the former Classical High School in Worcester, and played baseball, football, but mostly enjoyed playing hockey. Ron entered the U.S. Air Force in the early 60's, where he was trained in computer programming, but he also learned his passion for race care driving. He was in the "need for speed" racing Formula One cars throughout the New England area. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War working in the Information Technology Field. He also worked for the former Tom McCann and retiring finally from the U.S. Army Research Labs in Natick, MA. Away from work Ron adored his soul mate, and love of his life, his wife Susan and the time he spent with her. He loved skiing in the winter and raced in the U.S Ski Master Association. He enjoyed racing his Corvette whenever he could, always listening to classic rock playing for everyone to hear.

All are welcome to gather with Ron's family on Monday, April 12th from 10:30-12:00 at Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester St. N.Grafton, MA 01536. Funeral services and burial will be private.

I am hearing this a bit too late, and I'm sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I worked with him at Natick. We always talked about auto stuff and jazz. He added his hand always. I just thought about looking him up today .. blessings, Greg Smith
