I met Steve through the officiating circles. Officiated basketball games with him and had him as a referee while I was coaching high school soccer. A true gentleman!!!!

Starting with LL thru Intermediate League, the East Park summer baseball team and East Side Post 201.('59 &'60) Those were "the good old years" and I recall those years as being "the good old years" because I had a GOOD Friend and GREAT Team Mate, "Stevie" Palmieri, a GREAT KID.

My best memories of shrewsbury St was having Steve for a friend.
He was always upbeat with that great smile and easy manner
Our only disputes were over his love for the yankees ugh.
