Steven Hughes Obituary
He leaves his wife, Bobby Jo Wetteland, four children, Destinee Flores, and Aleah, Danielle and Kylee Wetteland, all of Manchester; three brothers, Daniel Lorange, Christopher Hughes and Joseph Lamonda, a sister, Tanya Hughes, all of Worcester; uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
He was born in Worcester, son of the late Daniel Lorange and Bonny M. Hughes. He graduated from the school at St. Casimir's. He worked as a roofer for many years.
Steven was loved by his entire family who looked to him for advice and strength all the time.
Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, are Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Steven Hughes Children's Fund, in care of Flagship Bank, 4 Mower St., Worcester, MA 01602.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Happy Birthday Steve!!! I can't believe this much time has passed. It feels like just yesterday you were here with us. The pieces are slowly going back together, but there will always be a piece of the puzzle missing. when your dog falls from grace all fairy tales are uncovered, myths exposed and pain magnified, the greatest pain discovered. you taught us to be strong but im confused to see you so weak, you said never give up but it hurts to see you welcome defeat. when your dog falls so does the park and so does the perception of tomorow, but without my dog, there is only crompton to deal with the sorrow. when your heart ceases to work and your soul is not here, we will think about the memories because they'll always be there.

Steve I know we only knew eachother for about three years, but I had so much love and respect for you before I even met you. You loved your children so much and they were the world to you. Words can't express how much I'm going to miss you. No need to worry, we got it under control.
