FITCHBURG/HOLDEN - Susan E. Cobb left this world unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. In this obituary her parents and family mourn the loss of their daughter who passed away much too young at the age of 36. She was the beloved daughter of Richard and Donna (Grenon) Cobb of Holden.

Susan was born on September 23, 1982 in Worcester and raised in Holden where she graduated from Wachusett Regional High School. She went on to further her education and received an Associate of Science Degree in Business from Quinsigamond Community College. She was employed as an administrative assistant III at Medtronic in Framingham.

She loved to find reasons to be silly and to make people laugh. She loved spending time with friends and family, comedy movies and the company of her two beloved Main Coons, Sierra and Gaitana. She was a devoted animal lover and an avid poet. Maine was always her home away from home.

She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her parents, Richard and Donna (Grenon) Cobb; her two brothers, Daniel Cobb and his fiancé, Heather Waice and Brian Cobb and his fiancé, Erika Antonsson; her grandmother, Gertrude Grenon; two nephews, Tyler and Jake Cobb; and numerous extended family members and friends. She is predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Robert A Grenon; her paternal grandparents, Raymond and Dorothy Cobb; and great-grandmother, Helen J. Hasenmiller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, June 28 in St. Mary's Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery, Main Street, Holden. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider donating to your local area animal shelter. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
