Susan Klaucke Obituary
Auburn - Susan Beauregard Klaucke passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Dec. 14, 2015 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband Ronald and son Dr. Christian Klaucke of Auburn, MA and her son Dr. Jonathan Klaucke, his wife Dr. Jillian Verby Klaucke, and their daughter Greta of Baltimore, MD. Susan also leaves behind her parents Marcel and Gloria (Lavallee) Beauregard of Putnam, CT, sisters Vivian Cardinal of Plympton, MA, Pauline Deluca of Apex, NC, Anne Briere of Raleigh, NC, and Diane St. Onge of Wells, ME, as well as brothers Roger Beauregard of Grafton, MA and Robert Beauregard of Kissimmee, FL. Additionally, she is survived by 10 nieces and nephews and their eight young children.
Susan grew up in North Grosvenor Dale, CT and graduated from Tourtellotte High School before becoming a dental hygienist through Quinsigamond Community College. She enthusiastically continued this profession before having to retire at age 61 due to the effects of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Susan loved being a mother and grandmother, cycling on Cape Cod and the Islands, having annual quilting weekends with her sisters and mother, skiing with her sons and husband, and gardening. Susan also sang in her church choir for over 30 years and was a member on boards and committees there. She was proud to participate in clinical research trials for ALS and has donated her body to UMass Medical School. Calling hours will be held at the Auburn First Congregational Church at 128 Central Street Auburn, MA on Friday, Dec. 18 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at the same location on Dec. 19 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Association.

Susan was a blessing when she became my dental hygienist and most of all for the caring spirit she shared with those who came into her life. I will always be thankful for the gift of her friendship. I pray that God is holding Susan in His arms, and embracing her family with His love.

Marcel and Gloria I knew Susan when she was a youngster. I enjoyed babysitting for all of your children. Susan was one of the highlights that I remember from that time. You both and Susan's family have our deepest sympathy.
