William V. Heldenbergh, 72

Douglas - William V. Heldenbergh, 72, died Friday, May 6, in the Jewish Healthcare Center, Worcester, following an illness. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Gladys (Ramsay) Heldenbergh; two sons, Kyle W. Heldenbergh, and his wife, Jessica, of Sutton, and Gary V. Heldenbergh, and his wife, Patti, of Burlington; two daughters, Pamela Moynagh, and her husband, Kevin, of Worcester, and Andrea Hughes, and her husband, Mitch, of Barre; a brother, Richard Heldenbergh, of Millville; 12 grandchildren, Emily, Jacqueline, Connor, Julia, Carter, Timothy, Ryan, Abigail, Tyler, Patrick, Joshua, and Caroline; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Heldenbergh was born in Woonsocket, RI, August 7, 1943, a son of Maurice and Sally (Krylowicz) Heldenbergh, He lived in Uxbridge for many years before moving to Douglas 42 years ago. He was a 1961 graduate of Uxbridge High School, and held a bachelor's degree form DeVry University in Chicago.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era.

Mr. Heldenbergh was a computer technician at Honeywell and Data General, Following retirement, he worked at Walmart in Oxford.

He was a member of St. Denis Church in Douglas, and for many years he coached youth soccer in Douglas, and the Fuller Hamlets in Sutton.

Mr. Heldenbergh's Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, may 10, in St. Denis Church. Calling Hours will be 5-7 PM, Monday, May 9, in the Carr Funeral Home, 24 Hill Street, Whitinsville. Burial will be private.
