Robert "Bob" Pellenz, 74, of Tellico Village and formerly of Chittenango, N.Y., passed away Jan. 2, 2023, in Knoxville.
Bob was born Aug. 27, 1948, in Syracuse, N.Y., to Phil and Rita Pellenz. Bob worked and retired from industrial sales in Syracuse. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a graduate of Fayetteville Manlius High School and a longtime member of Woodcrest Golf Course. He was an avid golfer who loved his family and friends. He had a contagious laugh and made everyone he spent time with feel happy and loved.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara; second wife, Joyce; parents, Phil and Rita; brother, Bill; sister, Carol; and several other family and close friends.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jane; son, Matthew Pellenz; daughter, Kerry Woolbert (Doug Woolbert); daughter, Christine Pellenz; and grandchildren, Alyson, Jake and Alivia.
A memorial service will be held in Syracuse in June. If you would like details, please send your contact information to [email protected]. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's name to the National Diabetes Foundation and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
