My Aunt Bertha (Minnie-Mommie) has been a huge influence my whole life long, artistically and musically, and I always loved her. She and her sisters Martha (Irene), and my Mom, Mattie (Opal Jean), are historically noted as the first all girl string band in country music--The Sunshine Sisters--and they seemed to have no inkling of the paths they had laid for future female musical artists! My wish is that the recognition they have earned be brought to light to shine as brightly as they did. And I'm sure that Heaven is even sunnier now that they've been reunited there, and they are surely having a wonderful jam session with all our loved ones who went on before them.-----Though now my own world is shaded with sorrow, I can play their music and the Sun shines again....
Sandy, Shirley, Mike, and Bob---as long as you can hear her sweet voice she isn't really gone....
Love to you and yours, always--

Minnie was a staunch Christian, mother, talented entertainer, instrumentalist, but her favorite thing was "Just to be a Good Mother and raise her two beautiful daughters, in a home filled with "Seasons" of the good tidings of her Lord Jesus, and she unselfishly ACCOMPLISHEDall these things and more, and was a true and dedicated wife, all of her life" She was (and is) one special Lady, and her memories will never pass away.....Don Lloyd Chapel, brother
