Dickson - Funeral services took place on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Clark Allen officiating. Burial followed at the Dickson Union Cemetery. Visitation with the family was held on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service also at Taylor Funeral Home.

For those desiring, Memorial Contributions are to be made to the Dickson County FFA.

Bryant Eugene Bell, age 80 of Dickson, TN passed away on April 14, 2019 at NHC of Dickson. He was born on the Bell family farm to the late Thomas Bryant and Hilda Taylor Bell on October 24, 1938. Mr. Bell worked at the Ford Glass Plant for many years and also spent many years as a Farmer. He learned to farm on his family's farm in the Bell's Bend community of Cheatham County along the Harpeth River.

Eugene met his wife Sandra Baker Bell at Montgomery Bell State Park and was married to her for over 49 years upon her passing in 2013. He loved to spend his time at his house on Kentucky Lake fishing for catfish. He was always ecstatic to talk about his cows and to work in his garden where he shared his vegetables with his friends and family. Eugene was very outgoing and is said to have never met a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his three grandchildren, Josh, Jake and Haley.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Baker Bell; and his siblings, Tommy Bell, Johnny Bell, and Sherrill Woods.

Mr. Bell is survived by his sons, Michael Bell of Dickson and Steven Bell and his wife Sheldon of Goodlettsville; his brother, Joe Bell of White Bluff; his sisters-in-law, Judy Bell, and Dorothy Leegon and her husband Tommy; his grandchildren, Josh Bell, Jake Bell, and Haley Bell; several nieces and nephews and special extended family.
