I had a dream last night about being back in Kindergarten and woke up wanting to find Ms. Dailey. I was so saddened to learn that she passed away in 2016. Ms Daily was my Kindergarten teacher back in 1983-84. She was always wonderful, always kind and left an impression on my life for the rest of my life. Living in a tumultuous home, Mrs. Daily's classroom was such a warm place. When I get to the other side one day, I hope to hug her and tell her myself.

I thought about Ms. Dailey randomly and decided to look her up. She was my second grade teacher at Mark Sheridan in Chicago, IL. I often think about the teachers that stood out to me. I am now 34 years old i remember her name, voice, and face so clearly like I was 7 years old again. I am very sorry to hear about her death, but please know that she was a great person. And if i recognized that at the agter of 7 and i still remember her so vividly to this day, then she must've been more amazing than I thought

Dear Steve and Sons,

You have my deepest sympathy. I am truly sorry about Daisy's transition. She was a wonderful person and a family treasure. While in Lake Meadows I observed her devotion to teaching. However most of all she was a person of character and will be sorely missed.

It is with deep regret that my soror, friend, former church and church club member passed, and it is with deeper sorrow that I was unable to attend the final service for her. I am holding the family in my prayers.
Soror Dailey's smile, melodious speaking voice and warming personality has been deeply imbedded in my mind. I shall never forget how helpful she was when my grandchildren attended Mark Sheridan Math and Science Academy where she worked. Soror Daisy took them to school with her many mornings.
I will truly miss going to lunch with her when she paid her visit back to Chicago to see her family and to accompany her husband on his business trips. Her conversations were always pleasant. Soror Daily, in spite of the many physical challenges in recent years was always hopeful.

Rest in Peace my dear Soror and Friend.

Hi Mr. Dailey,

I am you co-worker Deaconess Malinda McNeil of MNS in Washington, DC. Steve,
Nick and I were just overwhelmed with sorrow and sadness when we heard of Daisy's passing. Daisy and I go back to our days as neighbors, classmates at Clarke High School, students at Tenn State, and sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She was such a sweet, kind, fun lady. I remember our times at our Clarke High School reunions and our AKA conventions. She will be truly missed. We are praying for you , your sons, and family. We are so sad, but we know "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". God Bless!
