Daniel Rochester, age 25, born July 24, 1990; passed away unexpectedly from this life on August 8, 2015. His soul rests peacefully with his grandfather, Earle Rochester and grandmother, Mary Ellen Shook.
Daniel was a loyal and loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Richard and Mary Wiseman Rochester; his sister, Rachel; his grandparents, Judge Thomas and Emily Wiseman; uncle, Tom Wiseman III (Janet), and cousins, Allison Wiseman Acker (Davis), Tom Wiseman IV (Olya), Madeline Wiseman and Kate Wiseman; aunt, Sarah Wiseman and cousins, Rebecca Senn Pickens (Ward) and Jeremy Wiseman Senn. He is also mourned by his uncle, Tony Rochester and cousins, Trevor Rochester, Luke Rochester of Seneca, South Carolina.
Daniel's lifelong best friend, Richard Swor and his parents, Sammy and Sallie Swor, are part of his extensive extended family that will miss him deeply.
Daniel attended Percy Priest Elementary School and University School of Nashville; he then attended Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Florida, graduating with a degree in Political Science, with future plans to attend law school.
Daniel was an open and curious learner. He loved the arts, foreign languages, reading, creating music, and being outdoors. His main love was spending time with family and friends. We will always be touched by his sense of humor, compassionate soul and unique spirit.
Services will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2015 with visitation beginning at 11 a.m., at the church.
Donations may be made in honor of Daniel to: Westminster Presbyterian Church (Music Fund), Friends of Radnor Lake, or to The Southern Poverty Law Center.

Mary and Rick, I can't find the words to express how sad I am to hear about Daniel. Our boys were the same age and grew up in Westminster together. I tight Daniel Sunday school one year. Daniel and I attended Eckerd College together. When I first met Daniel I was immediately drawn in by his warmth and kindness. He was a very bright young man whom I had great deep conversations with.
