Mark,
Your mother has been on my mind and in my prayers since you told me, in June, of her illness. I will remember her as a beautiful lady with a beautiful spirit who loved the Lord. I will also remember that she always made me feel welcomed in the Sherrill home (all those years ago) here in Alex City. She was truly one of the sweetest Christian ladies I've ever known. I'm so glad I got to talk to her on the phone for a little while this past July. My heartfelt condolences go out to you, Donna, Dixie, Diane, Hugh Jr. and to all the extended family.

The stairway to Heaven
Leads us to our Lord
Where we will meet Him
And receive our reward
Heaven has no place
For suffering and pain
Those who suffer
Are the ones that remain
Have no sorrow
For those in Heaven above
As we all know
They're happy and loved
The sympathy goes
To those who remain
Those who lost someone
Will feel much pain
I'm so sorry
About your loss
Stay focused on Jesus
And look to the cross
I asked the Lord
To comfort you
And give you strength
To help you through

I know they are all having a blast right now. Our thoughts and prayers are with each one of you. We love you, David, Nancy, Megan & Nathan Brockway
