Dorothy May Wightman Vanderboss born June 9, 1931 in Hanover NH died July 3, 2016 surounded by her family in Goodlettsville TN. She was preceded in death by her parents Clinton A Wightman and Alice May Smith, sisters Shirley Pauline Bray and Caroline Fay Montes, husbands Norman D Vanderboss and Arthur M Vanderboss.
She is survived by her children Linda S Chandler (Joe) Gerald L Vanderboss (Dorothy) Barbara V Mayes (Ken deceased) Charles R Vanderboss (Karen) Laura A Watson (Michael), 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, 2 sisters Elizabeth Ann Johnson and Mary Ann Hogan, 7 brothers Clinton Jr, Joseph, William, James, Fred, Robert and Charles Wightman.
She worked for 27 years as the Head cashier at Madison Hospital (TCMC). After retiring she volunteered at the 503 Community Center for several years helping out where ever she was needed. She was a member of the Portland SDA Church in Portland TN.
Services will be held on Thursday July 7th at 2 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 1150 Dickerson Rd Goodlettsville TN 37072. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm on July 7th. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the 503 Community Center in Madison TN. Visit www.forestelawnfuneral-goodlettsville.com

DEAREST LINDA AND FAMILY. I KNOW THE LAST FEW YEARS HAVE BEEN DIFFFICULT FOR EVERYONE TO WATCH HER SUFFER, HOWEVER IT IS STILL SAD TO LOSE A PARENT.
