Douglas WHITESIDE Obituary

WHITESIDE, Douglas Age 91, passed away December 27, 2010. Mr. Whiteside is preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Whiteside. He is survived by sister-in-law, Dot Nixon; brother-in-law, Paul Yokley. Mr. Whiteside was a General Contractor for Hendley & Whiteside Builders, Inc and Whiteside & Bryan Partnership. He was a Deacon and taught intermediates for 46 years and served various committees at Judson Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Judson Baptist Church with Dr. H. Raymond Langlois and Johnnie Hall officiating. Pallbearers include Tom Butler, Allen Bryan, Worcester Bryan, Alan Burroughs, Steve Fralick, David McDaniel, Church Lowe and Stephen Nelson. The family would like to thank Dr. Ken Vargas, Dr. Gina Chandler, Dr. Robert Sewell and Dr. Netti for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at Judson Baptist Church. We will miss this kind, loving and gentle man in our lives.
