In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

We will truly miss Aunt Gertrude; We are proud to be part of her family.

Pittinger family. You are in our prayers. Your mother was a special person whom I enjoyed being with. She and my mother enjoyed each other company for many many years. I will miss both of these fine ladies.

Dear Pittinger family,
Charlie and I would like you to know you are in our prayers; we are sad to lose Aunt Gertrude but know she was ready to be in paradise. She left a beautiful legacy of good works, friendship, hospitality, and love. We count ourselves lucky to have known her for 38 years. She was such a lady: generous, positive and strong. There is no one I would have rather had over to tea today; she will be missed and our hearts are sore for her passing.
Love,
Carrie and Charlie Eckstein
