LEAVITT, James Ross "J.R." Age 29 of Donelson, TN, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009. J.R. was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a 1997 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School. J.R. was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Elsie Bartholomew; paternal grandfather, A. Ross Leavitt and uncle, Lyle Leavitt. He is survived by parents, Rodney and Judy Leavitt of Old Hickory, TN; daughter, Allison Sordelet of Smyrna, TN; half-sister, Collette (Pedro) Rodriguez of Ewa Beach, HI; sister, Denise (Christopher) Melvin of Lebanon, TN; twin-sister, Jenifer (Dustin) Lambert of Unionville, TN; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Leavitt of Idaho Falls, ID; paternal grandmother, Hazel Leavitt of Afton, WY; nieces, Tatiana Rodriguez, Salyssa Rodriguez, Jezmyn Rodriguez, Madelyn Melvin and Elsie Lambert; aunts and uncles, Sharon (Phil) Gibson, Cheryl (John) O'Very, Terrie (Lon) Ridpath, Kent (Cheri) Rowe, Darlene (Ron) Mitchell, Debbie (Monte) Davis and Dannelle Leavitt, and several cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Bond Memorial Chapel, with Dr. Craig Goff officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Eric Patterson, Paul Hedges, James Hedges, John Depp, Drew Underwood and Sam Gaddis, Wes German and Andy German.
