James Robertson Obituary

ROBERTSON, James V. Age 69, resident of Goodlettsville for 38 years, passed away September 17, 2009 after suffering complications from cancer surgery in May. He was born October 18, 1939 in Fountain Inn, SC. After a 34 year career, he retired in 1996 from Baptist Medical Hospital as the Assistant Manager of the Imaging Department. Preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Grady Robertson of Tullahoma; one brother, Alton Robertson of Smyrna, GA; and one sister, Wylene Mullins of Dayton, OH. Survived by his wife, Gladys Robertson; three children, Rhonda (John) Oglesby of Winston-Salem, NC, Sheila (Mike) Cioffa of Lighthouse Point, FL, and Robert V. (Dawn) Robertson of Hendersonville; two grandchildren, Brandon and Corbin; one sister, Myra (John) Bell of Tullahoma; two brothers, Lonnie Bruce (Paula) Robertson of Gainsboro, and Alvin (Joyce) Robertson of Tullahoma; one sister-in-law, Margie Robertson of Smyrna, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation scheduled for Sunday 2-6 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with a Masonic Service to follow at 6 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 1 p.m. with Bro. Steve Ramsey officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service. Interment immediately following in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made in honor of James V.
